Fudge Brownies

Overview

This creates a small batch of fudge brownies using cocoa powder.

Ingredients

10 tbs (140g) unsalted butter

65g grams cocoa powder

250g sugar

1.5g salt

2 large eggs

65g flour

1 teaspoon vanilla

Procedure

Place butter, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in a double boiler. Mix together until well blended. It can look a little gritty at this stage.

Transfer to mixing bowl, allow a few minutes to let it cool down.

Add in one egg at a time, and mix thoroughly between eggs.

Add in flour and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly.

Pour mixture in a small baking pan that has been greased or lined with baking parchment paper.

Preheat oven to 325.

Bake 20-30 minutes, or until toothpick at the center of pan comes out only slightly moist with batter.

Let cool completely, then cut into squares.
